At Developing Workers, we believe leadership development happens up close, personal, and over time.

Because when you invest in a leader, you’re never investing in just one life.

You’re investing in the people they’ll impact, too.

What happens when we say YES to God?
At the Global Discipleship Congress 2026 in Thailand, leaders from across nations gathered to fellowship, grow, pray, and learn together.

And because of your prayers and generous partnership:

🌏 18 Discipleship Directors and Representatives participated in the Discipleship Summit.

🌏 94 delegates from 22 churches and organizations representing 5 countries joined the Congress.

🌏 600+ Thai students heard the Gospel through Mobile Camps in 4 schools—including 3 Buddhist temple schools.

But the impact didn’t stop when the Congress ended.

After seeing the needs of the mission field firsthand, some delegates committed to support Better Life Thailand, helping provide weekly soccer field rental for a church plant in Bangkok.

Others are already planning to return to Thailand for short-term mission trips—with the hope that God will lead some toward longer-term commitments.

This is the ripple effect.

One opportunity.
One relationship.
One step of obedience.
One seed planted.

And God can use it to reach far beyond what we can see.

We are so grateful to everyone who prayed, gave, served, and partnered to make this possible.

The story is still unfolding.

And we can’t wait to see what God does with the seeds that have been planted.

“I planted, Apollos watered, but God was causing the growth.” — 1 Corinthians 3:6

Who are you helping take one step closer to Jesus?

You don’t need a stage to make disciples.
You need a person.

➡️ Someone to notice.
➡️ Someone to encourage.
➡️ Someone to walk beside.
➡️ Someone to challenge.
➡️ Someone to help take the next faithful step.

Discipleship often looks much simpler than we make it.

It can look like a conversation over coffee.
A text on a hard day.
An invitation to follow Jesus more deeply.
Showing up again and again.

It starts with a relationship.

So maybe the question isn’t, “Am I making disciples?” But instead it’s, “Who is God asking me to walk alongside?”

Who comes to mind for you? Pray and ask God who it is and then reach out to them 🙌🏼

You may never meet the people your life will impact.

But what if your investment in one☝🏽 person reaches far beyond that one relationship?

You invest in one leader.
That leader invests in another.
That leader disciples a family.
That family impacts a church.
That church transforms a community.

And the impact keeps moving.

This is why we develop workers.

We believe that when we invest deeply in leaders today, God can use that investment to impact generations we may never see.

DEVO: KNOW THE SPIRIT OF GOD
📖 1 John 4:1–6

“Do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God.” — 1 John 4:1

Not everything that sounds spiritual is true.

John reminds us that we are called to test what we hear—to discern whether a teaching is from God or leads us away from Him.

But how do we recognize what is false?

Think about how the FBI trains agents to spot counterfeit money. They become deeply familiar with the real thing. They study it, handle it, and know it so well that when something counterfeit comes along, they can recognize it.

We need to do the same with Scripture.

We don’t become discerning by obsessing over every false teaching.

We become discerning by becoming deeply familiar with the Truth.

The more we know God and His Word, the more quickly we can recognize what doesn’t align with Him.

So today, ask yourself:

→ Am I familiar with God’s Word?
→ Am I testing what I hear against Scripture?
→ Who helps hold me accountable to knowing and living out God’s truth?

Know the Truth.
Know God’s Word.
Know His Spirit.
Know His Character.

So when error comes, you recognize it.

Knowledge about God doesn’t save us. Jesus does. But knowing His Word helps us build a firm foundation so we aren’t easily tossed around by false teaching (Ephesians 4:14)

Sometimes leaders don’t need someone to tell them what’s wrong. They need someone to see who they are—and who they’re becoming.

✅ Someone to recognize what God is doing in their life.
✅ To speak truth when they can’t see it themselves.
✅ To name the obstacles holding them back.
✅ To encourage the next step.
✅ And to keep walking with them as they take it.

That’s leadership development.

At Developing Workers, we come alongside ministry leaders to help them recognize what God has placed within them and courageously step into what He’s calling them toward.

Because sometimes the next step starts with someone believing in you enough to call you forward.

Discipleship happens in relationships, over time, through life together.

Jesus didn’t simply give His disciples information to remember.

He invited them close.

They watched Him.
They walked with Him.
They learned from Him.
They asked questions.
They were challenged by Him.
They saw how He lived, loved, served, and followed the Father.

And then Jesus sent them out to do the same for others.

That is discipleship.

It’s not just a curriculum.
It’s not just a class.
It’s not just gaining more biblical knowledge.

It’s choosing to walk alongside someone as they follow Jesus—and helping them become the kind of disciple who can walk alongside someone else.

Up close.
Personal.
Over time.

Because discipleship doesn’t stop with us.

We are discipled so we can disciple others.

That’s how disciples multiply.
That’s how leaders are formed.
That’s how generations are transformed.

So… what is discipleship?
It’s life on life, following Jesus together.

This Easter, we remember the heart of it all:

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” — John 3:16

Easter is the story of love.

A love that gave.
A love that sacrificed.
A love that made a way for life.

Because of Jesus, we don’t just know about this love—we are invited to live in it and share it.

This is the message we carry.
This is the life we pass on.
