I’ve been AWOL for over a month. I’m so sorry. It’s just life, and the Texas heat has really made me hate crocheting for a minute.
It’s October now and we had a day without any 90° temps, and rain for the first time in AGES. IT was glorious and inspired me to make something.
This is a Big Sack Baby, pattern by Sweet Softies.
I think she turned out kind of cute and is also a lot bigger than I expected!

I found my painted crochet hook today while looking for something else. It’s an 18mm 3D printed hook that I painted myself, in the style of Van Gogh’s Starry Night. I have used it a couple of times for bulky yarn projects. 🧶

One thing about me is that I will hyperfixate on a pattern I like and make tons of the same kind of thing because it’s predictable and safe. I guess that thing will be tote bags for the foreseeable future. 🛍️😂
