Today, Saturday, May 16, is Armed Forces Day, and here at E6 Farm & Ranch, we want to say a big THANK YOU to every member of the U.S. Armed Forces- including E6 co-founder, Bret Lord, his dad, his father-in-law, and our son. All different branches, same heart. 🇺🇸

We’ve been busy over here layering up to brave the frigid temps outside, breaking up ice from troughs, keeping fresh hay out for the horses since our pasture is frozen solid with snow-ice, checking fences and gates, etc. The work of a livestock owner doesn’t get to push pause or slow down when winter comes. We aren’t just coffee business owners, we are also a horse property. And the horses have to stay warm, fed and hydrated!

But, we’ve managed to get in a few “snow”ball fights with the grandbabies, watch the dogs frolic around (and slip a few times 🤣), watch a few new shows under some blankets, and eat some chili as a family. Winter isn’t all bad!
