Biting can occur during the toddler years, especially when children are teething, developing language, or playing in crowded spaces. Adults can help by staying nearby, noticing triggers, keeping children safe, and teaching simple words such as “mine,” “stop,” and “help.”

Work does not always happen from 9 to 5. Explorer Learning Academy is designed for real family schedules, with care available from 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., seven days a week. Families can ask about current space and schedule options.

When a child hits, respond with a firm, calm limit: “I won’t let you hit. Hands stay safe.” Protect the other child, then teach safer ways to respond—ask for space, request a turn, wait, trade, or seek help from an adult.
