The Tomball Public Safety Academy is here! Formerly known as the Citizen Police Academy, this newly expanded program offers an innovative, behind-the-scenes look at how the Tomball Police Department and Tomball Fire Rescue serve and protect our community every day.

Beginning September 8, participants will experience an exciting, hands-on journey through the world of public safety. From police operations and investigations to fire suppression, rescue, emergency response, and much more, you'll get an in-depth look at the training, teamwork, and technology that keep Tomball safe.

As an added benefit, every participant will earn CPR certification during the academy, giving you valuable lifesaving skills you can use for years to come.

Whether you're curious about public safety, interested in serving your community, or want a deeper understanding of the dedicated professionals who answer the call, this academy is for you.

Congratulations to Driver Operator Tanner Likin on successfully completing his one-year probationary period with Tomball Fire Rescue!

Completing probation is a significant milestone that reflects Tanner's dedication, professionalism, and commitment to serving the citizens of Tomball and Harris County ESD #15. Over the past year, Tanner has demonstrated a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities expected of a Driver Operator while contributing positively to the team.
