Indy Races for Childhood Cancer Foundation

Indy Races is dedicated to aiding local families impacted by pediatric illnesses.

Our mission is to raise funds through an engaging race event that features various distances, including a run around Lake Shawnee (6.8M), 10K, 5K, and a 1M run/walk.

This Oct 24-25! It's so much fun to volunteer and cheer these people on as they push themselves beyond what they know they are capable of.

The Kansas Rails to Trails race takes place on the Prairie Spirit Trail, with aid stations set up in small towns along the route to make sure runners have everything they need to reach their goals.

These aid stations are run by volunteers, and without them, the race couldn’t happen. With so many aid stations operating for so many hours, signing up for a specific time and location helps the team identify where the greatest needs are.

Many runners choose afternoon or overnight volunteer shifts so they can volunteer after finishing their race. It’s also a great way to earn race credits for the Prairie Spirit race in the spring. Friends and family members supporting runners can also sign up for shifts and earn race credits for themselves or their runners.
