Lucky H Ranch

You can’t skip on nutrition—good grain helps build good horses. 🐴

We just made a run to Premier Farm & Home and stocked up on grain, so everyone is set for the week. Now it’s back to feeding happy horses and getting things done around the ranch.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful Monday!

I’m going to say this from the heart.

I’ve already shared that this has been an incredibly hard year for me and my family. Through all of it, I have continued to do my best to keep Lucky H Ranch a horse-first, mental-health-safe environment. I hope that is evident in the content I share here.

What you see on Facebook is a tiny piece of someone’s life. You don’t know my history, my experiences, my values, or where I actually stand on a topic based on one picture or one post. You don’t know me.

My day job—the job that actually pays my bills—is working in mental health. I see this kind of thing all the time. Someone posts something innocently, and suddenly people who know nothing about that person feel entitled to attack, judge, and bully them from behind a keyboard.

That bothers me deeply.

I stay away from controversial topics on this page intentionally. Lucky H Ranch is supposed to be a place where people can come, learn, ride, work with horses, and feel safe.

You are absolutely entitled to your beliefs and opinions. But if something on my page bothers you, you can simply keep scrolling or just unfollow me. You don’t need to use MY page to publicly attack me or someone else to make your point.

I firmly believe that if you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all.

And honestly, my heart hurts for the teenagers who experience this kind of cyberbullying every single day because their beliefs—or someone’s interpretation of their beliefs—don’t match someone else’s.

It takes nothing to be kind.

We have enough division and cruelty in the world without adding to it from behind a screen.

I am unapologetically proud of who I am, what Lucky H Ranch represents, and the environment I’m working to create here. ❤️

Lucky H Ranch

The barn is getting some upgrades. We removed the worn-out stall fronts and are making improvements so we’re ready when winter arrives.

A lot has changed around Lucky H Ranch over the years, but one thing hasn’t—we keep investing back into the horses and the facility. Whether winter is mild or throws everything it has at us, we’re doing our best to be prepared.

Progress isn’t always glamorous, but these projects help keep our horses comfortable and our barn running strong.

I still have this 5pm available if someone wants to saddle up! 😊

We had a 5pm cancellation if anyone wants to enjoy the wonderful weather on a horse this evening. Please message us directly the app won’t show openings under 24hrs.
