Hey FASDogs family! (volunteer fundraising hat on!)

I'm so excited to share something I've been working on with Krista Elizabeth and Savannah Moore — this weekend (August 8–9), families across the country are setting up lemonade stands to raise money for FASDogs, and we'd love for YOU and your kids to join us!

With school starting back up soon, this is the perfect way to send summer off with something meaningful. It's a hands-on service project that lets kids do something productive, learn what it feels like to give back, and be part of a cause bigger than themselves — all before those first-day-of-school jitters set in.

Our son Bennett (photo) was recently matched with a dog, and we are anxiously awaiting the day our dog in training, Leo, gets to come home!! Being on this side of the journey has shown me just how much goes into raising and training these dogs — and how much every bit of support matters. We hope you'll jump in with us!

The idea is simple: let the kids pick a spot in your neighborhood, set up a stand, and sell some lemonade this weekend. Every cup poured helps support the work FASDogs does to train and place service dogs for people living with FASD. Whether they raise $20 or $200, it all adds up — and honestly, it's a fun, easy way to get the whole family involved, teach the kids about service, and spread the word about our mission at the same time.

Here's how to jump in:

Have the kids set up a lemonade stand anywhere that works for you — your yard, a park, outside a local shop (with permission!) — this weekend, August 8–9.
Let them tell folks the money is going to FASDogs and share what we're all about (great practice talking about a cause they're supporting!).
Snap some photos and share them right here in the group — I can't wait to see stands popping up all over the map!
