There is a significant difference between completing a short course, following an algorithm, and offering a one-size-fits-all approach versus investing in extensive, advanced training, learning directly from respected experts, and developing the clinical experience necessary to individualize care.

Even highly respected endocrinologists, OB/GYNs, and hormone specialists openly acknowledge that their formal education often did not provide enough training in this area, and that meaningful expertise required years of additional education and clinical experience. You cannot achieve this in days or weeks.

It can be difficult to share your professional history on social media because nuance can easily be lost. But we believe it is our responsibility to give patients the information they need to make informed decisions, whether or not they ever choose to work with Epic.

There are many providers offering hormone therapy today, but the depth of clinical training, ongoing mentorship, and experience managing complex patients can vary tremendously.

As this field continues to evolve and regulatory standards continue to develop, one thing remains true: there is no substitute for experience, advanced training, and thousands of hours spent caring for real patients.

Our goal is simply to raise the standard, educate our patients, and ensure that women have access to thoughtful, individualized, evidence-informed care.
