KHI's Kevin Kovach is focused on empowering public health champions to communicate the value of their work. He recently visited Nashville, Tennessee, to present at NNPHI's Open Forum.
He worked with public health leaders on how to communicate about public health in ways that create new value, help stakeholders understand how they benefit and capture the resources necessary to sustain strong public health infrastructure.

ANNOUNCING: Wichita State University's Public Policy & Management Center has been selected as the statewide coordinator for the 2026 Upward Mobility Transformation Fund by the Kansas Health Foundation, directing over $5 million to 18 Kansas projects. The PPMC-led consortium of partners, including the Kansas Health Institute, United Ways of Kansas, Cambr, and CML Collective, is establishing shared metrics and data integration to move beyond isolated program outcomes. Together, this collaborative effort equips local leaders with the insights needed to understand system-level impact and build lasting economic opportunity statewide.
