We're on a mission to feed people in Topeka who have food scarcity by placing food in the 61 Blessing Boxes strategically placed around town.

We get by, with a little help from our friends…
A lot of shout outs, and thank you’s today, from Bee the Blessing Box! We put together 600 “grab and go bags”, to be distributed to the 62 Blessing Boxes in our community. I’d like to thank everyone who donated their money, and time …
To Prairie Band Casino & Resort , whose generous donation enabled us to purchase this food.
To Scout troops 175 and 225, from First Lutheran Church, in Topeka, for giving up part of their Saturday afternoon to help put the bags together.
To the residents of Arbor Valley, who regularly donate their time, and money.
To Jaxon, who, through his Eagle Scout project, built and installed two Blessing Boxes, and continues to remain invested in our mission to serve the most vulnerable in our community.
An afternoon of fellowship, and blessings!❤️

A big thank you to The Rotary Club of Topeka, for inviting us to speak at their meeting last week. We were also invited to participate in their community service project. Through member donations, they were able to purchase various hygiene items, which we bagged into quart size bags, to be placed in the 60+ Blessing Boxes in Topeka. There was a lot of thought put into the essential items they purchased, such as hand sanitizer, soap, toothbrush and toothpaste, a thermal blanket, etc.. Another big thank you to the members who grabbed a list of Blessing Box locations, and offered to help deliver these bags to various boxes! Community support is critical to our non-profit! Thank you for the Blessing of fellowship and donations!

We’ve had some inquires about if people can put food in the Blessing Boxes, on their own. The answer is YES, and YES, PLEASE!!
We have organizations in town that help us fill the boxes, but we really count on the support of the community! With 60+ boxes in Topeka, it’s going to take all of our support! Our goal would be to put food in every box, every day!
The only thing we ask, is that you put non-perishables in the boxes. Pop top cans are always helpful, along with items that can be eaten on the go, such as cheese and crackers, granola bars, packages of nuts, etc.
We’ve had places of business do food drives within their office. Maybe a canned food drive, or jars of peanut butter, etc.. If that’s something your place of business would like to do, we’d be happy to come pick the food items up and distribute them in the boxes. We appreciate everything that the community does to support Bee the Blessing non-profit in Topeka! 🐝

Ran into Megan today when I was out filling boxes. She has a passion for dogs, and was putting these small bags of dog food into the Blessing Boxes. A lady came up to the boxes while we were chatting, and was thrilled to find a sack of dog food in there! Thank you, Megan, for thinking of the pet owners!🐶

785 B**r Company for giving the second Blessing Box a permanent home, matching the paint to your building, and supporting this project.

Bee the Blessing for inspiring people to help fight hunger in our community and showing how Blessing Boxes can make a difference.

Everyone who donated money, materials, or supplies to my project. Every donation helped make this possible.

A Special Dedication

I would also like to dedicate this project to Thor, my dog, who was always there for me.

Thank you to everyone who believed in me and helped make this project possible. Because of all of you, there are now two more Blessing Boxes that will help families and individuals in our community. I hope they remind people that even a small act of kindness can make a big difference.
