🌟 PAWS Pet of the Month: Hampton! 🌟

Meet Hampton, our gentle giant with an even bigger heart. ❤️ This lovable Bernedoodle has become an expert cuddle buddy, loyal adventure companion, and professional tennis ball enthusiast. Whether he’s exploring Mt. Lemmon, sticking his head out the car window, or serving as the perfect pillow for his toddler sisters, Hampton brings joy everywhere he goes.

After facing his share of health challenges, Hampton’s family has worked tirelessly to help him thrive. We’re honored to have been part of his journey over the past year and are so grateful for the trust they’ve placed in our team.

As Hampton’s mom shared:
“We love his big puppy energy and will do our best to keep him a happy Ham for years to come.” 💙

We’re so happy to celebrate this sweet boy as our PAWS Pet of the Month and can’t wait to watch him continue living his best life. Congratulations, Hampton! 🐾

🌵 Desert beauty can come with hidden dangers. 🐾

Living in the Sonoran Desert means being surrounded by incredible plants, but not all of them are safe for our four-legged family members.

Some of the most common landscape plants in Southern Arizona, including oleander, sago palms, lantana, and aloe vera, can be toxic to dogs and cats if ingested. Even our iconic cacti, while not chemically toxic, can cause painful injuries with their sharp spines.

If you suspect your pet has chewed on or eaten a potentially toxic plant:
🐶 Remove them from the area.
📞 Contact your veterinarian or an emergency veterinary hospital immediately.
⏰ Early treatment can make all the difference.

A little awareness goes a long way in keeping your pets safe while they explore the beautiful Arizona outdoors. 💚

We’re so excited to kick off our brand-new Mutts & Movies monthly movie night THIS SATURDAY! 🍿

Join us and your four-legged best friend for an evening of movies, snacks, and fun in our air-conditioned recreation center at The Canine Co-Lab.

🎥 This month’s featured movie: Turner & H***h 🐶

📅 Saturday, July 25
🕡 Doors open: 6:30 PM
🎬 Movie begins: 7:00 PM
📍 The Canine Co-Lab

✨ Admission is just $5 per person
🐕 Dogs attend FREE (limit 2 dogs per family)

We’ll have:
🍿 Popcorn
💧 Water
🧺 Blankets

Just bring your favorite non-alcoholic beverage, settle in, and enjoy a movie night with your pup!

To help everyone have a great experience:
🐾 Dogs must be friendly, leashed, and wearing an escape-proof collar or harness.
👨‍👩‍👧 Children must be accompanied by an adult.

🎨 The Art vs. The Artist 🩻🐾

The Art: Dani… sporting the latest barium splatter fashion. 😅

The Artist: Penelope… innocent face, messy masterpiece. 🎨🐶✨

Barium studies are incredibly important diagnostic tools, but they don’t always leave everyone looking picture perfect. Sometimes the patient stays spotless while the technician becomes the canvas. 😂

Penelope absolutely nailed her role as the artist, and Dani wore her masterpiece with pride. We’d call this one “Mixed Media in Barium.” 🤍

🎓 She has a Bachelor’s degree in Science with a minor in Leadership Studies from the University of Arizona.
🎨 Outside of work, she loves arts and crafts.
🌸 Dream vacation: While she loves relaxing at the beach, visiting Japan during cherry blossom season is at the top of her travel bucket list.
