From Mexico, honey mangos, also known as Ataulfo mangos, have a smooth flavor, and are best used in sauces and purees.
FLAVOR: Sweet and tangy with tropical fruit notes
AROMA: Smooth, firm flesh with no fibers
TEXTURE: Juicy, tender flesh with limited fibers
COLOR: Vibrant Yellow
SHAPE: Large, flattened oblong shape
EXTERNAL RIPENING INDICATORS: Skin turns to a deep golden color and small wrinkles appear when fully ripe. Squeeze gently to judge ripeness.
