🦜 HOW TO STEP-UP TRAIN YOUR PARROT!

Teaching your parrot to step up is one of the most important skills you can work on—and it can make everyday handling so much easier!

In this video, we’ll show you how to work on the step-up command using patience, positive reinforcement, and trust. Remember, never force your bird. Keep training sessions short, reward progress, and give your parrot time to learn at their own pace.

A solid step-up can make moving your bird, returning them to their cage, grooming, and everyday interaction safer and less stressful for everyone.

🦜 Do you see the THREE beak issues? Look closely! 👀

This parrot came to us with several significant beak problems that we were able to address during grooming.

1️⃣ The biggest issue: The bottom beak was extremely overgrown—so long that this bird couldn't fully close its mouth.

2️⃣ There was also overgrowth on the top beak that needed to be carefully corrected.

3️⃣ The top beak had excessive length, affecting the overall shape and alignment of the beak.
Proper beak care can make a HUGE difference in a bird's comfort and ability to eat normally.

One of the WORST beaks we’ve ever seen! 😳🦜

This parrot’s top beak had grown so long that it was nearly penetrating the neck. The bottom beak had a massive crack and was protruding off to one side, creating a severe scissor beak.

Watch this incredible transformation as we carefully work to correct the beak and help this beautiful parrot finally eat more comfortably. ❤️
