Employees from across campus came together to enjoy grilled burgers and hot dogs, connect with colleagues, and soak up some summer sunshine. The courtyard was buzzing with conversation and community, making it a perfect afternoon to catch up with familiar faces and meet new ones. Thanks to everyone who joined us!

Tech Parks Arizona was recently featured in Expansion Solutions Magazine. The article "Newer R&D Parks Strengthen Collaboration" explores how research and development parks are evolving into innovation ecosystems.

The article includes perspectives from leaders across the industry, including Tech Parks Arizona President and CEO Carol Stewart, who discussed the shift from traditional research parks to connected ecosystems that bring together talent, capital, industry partnerships and startup support. Stewart also highlighted the growing influence of emerging technologies including AI, biotech, quantum and climate solutions as regions build on their unique strengths to create long-term economic advantage.

People of the Park – Meet Jorja Meshberger, Project Assistant, Jacobs

Jorja Meshberger is part of the team supporting financial and operational processes, where she is currently assisting with financial record keeping and compiling invoices for Jacobs. As she gets up to speed in her role, Jorja is working closely with experienced team members to learn the systems and ensure accuracy and consistency. She also helps support Maintenance Connection by assisting with the creation and management of work orders, contributing to the team’s day-to-day efficiency. Her willingness to learn and attention to detail make her a valuable addition to the team.

Fun fact: Jorja has a wide variety of creative hobbies, including baking, crochet, and even writing novels!
