So far this week in Córdoba, Argentina:

Our Know Me women’s event reached 550 women, featuring worship with Ingrid Rosario. As Wendy shared the Gospel message, 184 women responded! On Wednesday, Andrew spoke to 550 police cadets, inspiring them around the service they will give to their city. That evening, he addressed a room of business and civic leaders on “Decisions That Transform.”

We also had the privilege of visiting a local prison, connecting with local media, and praying with the Vice Mayor of Córdoba.

The Story of Abdi  

“I will try this Jesus.”  

In the heart of a the peri-urban Kasoa, our team met Abdi, 54, at the festival grounds. He admitted he didn’t really understand most of the religious rituals he’d been carrying out — but he listened closely as someone told him about Jesus. The conviction was almost immediate but Abdi was still skeptical. He revealed that he would “try this Jesus” but would turn back if Jesus failed.  

We held onto one truth: Jesus never fails. That quiet confidence carried us, and we pressed on in faith.  

The Holy Spirit turned quiet conviction into an avenue for acceptance. Abdi gave his life to Christ and received the Gospel of John, assuring us that he would study the Word and learn more about Jesus.
