*Attention Owner operators and company owners. The current increase in rates due to the higher fuel prices should not equate to pay raise for your dispatchers and drivers. At HP Auto we calculate the difference in $ per gallon from when fuel was lower and the current real time average $per gallon for a truck and multiply that by the gallons used. That amount is subtracted from the gross fees and that is what our fee is based on and that is how the drivers are paid. The increased rates is not based on supply and demand. Owner operators should not take on the cost of paying the higher fuel cost and more to their dispatchers and drivers. If your dispatchers have not adjusted their pay you are losing money.
