Tomorrow officially kicks off wedding season here at Kallista Park, and our Secret Garden is ready.
After months of tending, planting, trimming and preparing every little corner, we get to watch this beautiful space come alive again with ceremonies, celebrations, music, laughter and
some very special “I do’s.”
There’s something magical about seeing the gardens quiet and waiting just before the season begins.

Every year, one of my favorite traditions at the ranch returns. 🤎
For generations, bobcats have made this land part of their home. We watch the babies grow, and then the following years bring another generation of little ones back to the ranch.
It has been happening here since long before I came along, and I never get tired of seeing them.
There’s something so special about knowing this land has been part of their story for so many years — and that we get to quietly share it with them.
Seeing this beautiful bobcat today absolutely made my day. Nature at Medella Vina Ranch is pretty magical. 🐾

A little behind-the-scenes look at what’s happening in our Secret Garden. 🌿
We’re officially making the seasonal transition from our summer Bermuda grass to beautiful winter rye.
Right now, the lawn is going through the process — preparing the soil, seeding, watering, and giving everything the time it needs to grow in lush and green.
It may not look very glamorous during the transformation, but this is what it takes to keep our Secret Garden lawn looking beautiful through Tucson’s cooler months.
We’ll be sharing photos of the progress along the way, and we can’t wait to show you the finished result. 💚
Beautiful gardens don’t just happen — there’s a lot of love, work,and patience behind them.
