Pima Play is your one-stop shop for all the fun recreational opportunities Pima County has to offer. If it doesn't have a motor, it's good to go on The Loop.
Available for use from dawn to dusk, Pima County residents and visitors on foot, bikes, skates, and horses can enjoy about 136 miles of The Loop shared-use paths that have already been completed. The Loop connects the Rillito River Park, Santa Cruz River Park, and Pantano River Park with the Julian Wash and the Harrison Greenway. Work is ongoing to add more miles of paths.

Fall break will be here before you know it! Pima Air & Space Museum is holding their Fall Break Day Camp on Oct. 16th. Kids ages 6-12 will learn to build robot kits, explore how sounds travels, and — of course — take time in the museum’s flight simulators to experience high speed flight! LOOP CLOSURE 🚧 The CDO Loop path is closed at La Cholla and Magee today, Sept. 30 due to area flooding. The Diversion Channel is also closed. The path is expected to be reopened by tomorrow morning.
All Pima County Parks and Recreation fields are closed today, 9/29, due to the wet field conditions. ⚠️ Please stay safe and stay off the wet fields!
Update (1:33 PM 9/29) The bees have been removed and the path has reopened.

Closed: The Loop is temporarily closed on the east side of the Santa Cruz path in Marana between Cortaro and Twin Peaks, as the Quarry Pines Golf Course deals with bees associated with fallen trees. The west path remains open. 🚧
