Several of TusCon's authors are coming to Mesa on Aug 15th for the Mall Crawl Book Faire hosted by our friends and supporters at Anthology.org
Head on out there in the air conditioned comfort of Superstition Springs Center, meet some authors, buy some books (all the books!) and pick up a TusCon bookmark.
Share pics of your books, TusCon bookmarks, and selfies with authors by tagging us and using hashtag on your socials. We love seeing our community connecting outside the convention.

Another star has gone out in fandom.
Last Friday, another TusCon family member passed away.
Kumie Wise was an amazing, vibrant, brilliant woman, and loving wife and parent. She could instantly set folks at ease with her engaging and friendly personality, and was an enthusiastic supporter of fandom in all its manifestations. She frequently attended TusCon with her husband, David Lee Summers and became part of our family.
Kumie succumbed to complications from sudden onset metastatic breast cancer on Friday July 31, 2026.
She is already terribly missed.

Our love and condolences go out to her family.

My darling friends!! This year, TusCon Science Fiction Convention welcomes Jason and Deena Jo, co-chairs of Wild Wild West Con, as our Fan Guests of Honour!! I'm thrilled that they will be with us so that we can celebrate all of the incredible things they've done as the chairs of Wild West Con but also as stalwart members of Steampunklandia.

This is a perfect year to come be part of this long running, local geek convention and help us create a little Steampunk magic throughout the weekend. TusCon is going on 50+ years of geekery, and there is definitely room for some excellent steampunk programming.
