A special thank you to Kimberly Clark Warren, General Manager at Southern Hills Country Club, for her support of the First Tee of Tulsa, Alysha McAlester for coordinating the event, and Cary Cozby, Leonard Cato, and Bryant Evans and their staffs for making the day an amazing experience for participants! All enjoyed time playing the immaculate championship golf course, and eating fabulous food!

🏆⛳️ A Golden Ticket to Augusta! ⛳️🏆

What an incredible day for First Tee – Tulsa student Zion Benjamin! Zion competed in the PGA Drive, Chip & Putt Regional Qualifier on Saturday, September 19th, at Southern Hills Country Club, where he was one of just 14 competitors to advance to the regional qualifier.

With an impressive score of 156, and by acing his final two putts, Zion secured his Golden Ticket to the Drive, Chip & Putt National Finals!

The National Finals will be held at Augusta National Golf Club the Sunday before the start of the 2027 Masters and will be broadcast live on the Golf Channel.

Congratulations, Zion!! 🎉 We’re so proud of you and will be rooting for you every step of the way!

Congratulations to former Owasso High School golfer and First Tee of Tulsa alum Reagan Plank on being named one of 20 recipients of the PGA of America REACH Foundation’s 2026-2027 scholarships! ⛳️

The scholarship supports talented students as they pursue their education and future careers in golf and the golf industry. We’re proud to see Reagan recognized for her talent, dedication, and potential as she continues to pursue her goals both on and off the course.

We’re grateful for partners who believe in golf's power to impact young people's lives positively. Thank you for helping us make a difference this summer!

Last week, we held a club giveaway and were able to give away more than 130 golf clubs, along with numerous bags and other golf equipment. Thanks to the generosity of our donors’ giving of used clubs and golf items, a whole new group of kids now has the equipment they need to get outside and play the great game of golf. 🏌🏾 🏌️‍♀️ ⛳️

Our Club Giveaway is happening Thursday, August 27 from 3:30–5:00 PM at the First Tee – Tulsa Learning Center!

Fall 2026 registered participants can stop by and check out our selection of used golf clubs, bags, clothes, golf shoes, and more! 🏌️‍♀️🏌🏿
