The Hulett Collection
Tulsa's preeminent fine art photography gallery based in the historic Cherry Street District.
The Hulett Collection is a fine art gallery specializing in classic 20th century and contemporary photographic works. Native to Tulsa, Oklahoma, Michael Hulett started in the fine arts world more than 10 years ago in Los Angeles as the Director of the world-renowned Peter Fetterman Gallery in Santa Monica. He has curated more than 85 exhibitions across Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, London and Paris. Michael brings his 20 years of knowledge of the medium's history and its foremost photographers to The Hulett Collection. Previously based in Los Angeles, the gallery relocated to a new space in the historic Cherry Street District in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 2022. Classic masters ranging from Ansel Adams, Henri Cartier-Bresson, André Kertész, Garry Winogrand and René Groebli will be shown alongside contemporary artists such as Sebastião Salgado, Albarrán Cabrera, Noell Oszvald, Kit Young and Luigi Vegini among others in a boutique personal setting.

Joseph Sterling spent the late 1950s and early 60s photographing American teenagers exactly as they were: reckless, tender, and sure the moment would never end. The Age of Adolescence is that particular mix of courage, heartbreak, and energy that adolescence holds, caught as it happened.

We are excited to be attending the next edition of Chico Review as a reviewer.
The Chico Review is the country’s premier Photobook Retreat. Organized by Charcoal Book Club, The Chico Review takes place over seven days at Chico Hot Springs Resort, near Livingston Montana. Eighty applicants will be selected by the jury and invited to spend the week with over twenty five of the most influential and creative photographers, book makers, gallerists, museum curators, and photobook publishers in the industry. One full tuition scholarship, two half tuition scholarships, and five partial tuition scholarships will be awarded. Student discounts and need-based scholarships will be available to those selected who qualify.
Attending artists receive ten formal reviews by speakers and reviewers and take part in artist lectures, panel discussions, peer reviews, Q&A sessions, and additional evening programming over the seven day event.
At the end of the event, one grand prize winner will be announced and their project will be published and distributed by Charcoal Book Club
