Crybaby Ink is a unique shop and it requires unique people and driven artists to inspire one another. Everyone with good vibes is welcome through our doors. We are a lgbtqia+ , kink friendly (don’t make it weird, it’s for people to be able to explain their kink driven tattoo ideas), fierce protector of diversity, etc. Only love is welcome in these doors!

We offer :

1st year working- 30% pay in
2nd year working 25% pay in
3rd year working- 20% pay in.

We stay busy. We have walk ins regularly and it’s bc we treat our clients with the upmost respect and love. They become family.

Must be self disciplined. We run a tattoo supply on the side and we have to have artists who are self driven and can stick to their own schedule and maintain consistency. We are open 12-4 weds- Sunday. You’re welcome to stay later. After 3 months you can create your own schedule.

We travel to some really cool places and have awesome connections! With our side company we get a lot of cool opportunities to go to a lot of amazing shows! You can be a part of that if you choose to!

No drugs, no drama. We are 420 friendly. If you have bad habits that get out of line, we can’t risk our business and reputation but more than that, we can’t risk you messing up someone skin. Drama is a no go all together.

There’s a difference between being a tattooer and a tattoo artist. If you aren’t in love with tattooing and strive to learn, this isn’t the shop for you. We are lucky to have this career and to be picked out of so many artists in Tulsa to do something forever in someone else.

It’s a pretty easy going shop. We all have a lot of fun together and we believe in pay transparency. We also believe in paying a good wage to make sure you also get to live your best life outside of work. We in turn supply , gloves, paper towels, cleaning supplies, ink caps, soap, tongue depressors, Coban, stencil bond, glide. etc. and with our tattoo supply you also get a good amount off on ink, carts, etc. It’s a pretty dope setup.

“Divas, homies, and new/old friends alike, my name is Kii Johnson (they/them). I’m a 2spirit Mvskoke + Cheyenne and Arapaho tattooer originally from Morris, OK. In 2024 I started my apprenticeship and have since been a part of the tattoo industry here in Tulsa. I love doing blackwork, contemporary takes on indigenous patterns, vibrant color, and fine line but am attracted to a variety of styles. I both hand poke and tattoo with a machine, and I would love to do more work that incorporates both techniques. I aim to create relationships built on trust and mutual respect with my clients. It’s important to me to foster a safe and welcoming environment for my community where my clients feel confident to use their voice. When I’m not tattooing I enjoy playing acoustic guitar, listening to Charli XCX, and scouring thrift shops to add to my growing trinket/doo-dad collection.
