Big week ahead! 🏁 We’re heading back to the West Coast for the NOS Energy Mark Hagopian Memorial at Plaza Park Raceway, September 23–26.
📅 Wednesday, Sept. 23 — Practice Night
📅 Thursday & Friday — Preliminary Nights
📅 Saturday — Finale | $10,000 to Win
$25,000 KKM Giveback Challenge Series Finale — Coles County Speedway
What a way to close out the season! We battled through a challenging prelim night Friday and came back Saturday with a strong race car, finishing 3rd in the $25,000 feature while securing the KKM Giveback Challenge Series National Championship.
Friday — Preliminary Night
* Time Trial: DNS
* Heat: P8 → P5
* Qualifier: P5 → P5
* B-Main: P7 → P1
* A-Main: P18 → P9
We spent most of the night chasing a charging system issue, but the crew worked hard to get it resolved. Despite the challenges, we were able to put together a solid night, get valuable track time, and continue building toward Saturday.
Saturday — $25,000 Finale
* KKM Winners Shuffle Draw: 5th Seed
* KKM Winners Shuffle: 5 → 4 → 3 → 2 → 1
* Raced all the way through the shuffle to the top, locking ourselves into the Dash
* King of Coles Shuffle: 8 → 7 → 6
* $25,000 Feature: P6 → P3
We had an incredible amount of speed in the feature, quickly charging from 6th to 2nd and beginning to close in on the leader. Unfortunately, the track eventually rubbered down around the bottom, making it difficult to make any further progress.
Regardless, it was an incredible way to finish the season — standing on the podium at the biggest race of the year while securing the KKM Giveback Challenge Series National Championship.

We’re back at it this Labor Day weekend for the KKM Giveback Challenge Series $25,000 Finale at Coles County Speedway!

We’re ready to compete for $25,000, but there’s even more on the line as we battle to secure valuable series points and finish the season strong.

Northeast Outlaw Invasion Finale Results-

Heat Race: P2-P1
Qualifier:P3-P1
Redraw: P6
Feature:P6-P16
Had plenty of speed early in the night and put myself in position to make the redraw. Worked my way up to 3rd in the feature before struggling a bit through the middle stages of the race. Unfortunately, we were spun on a restart with 18 laps to go and had to go to the rear.

A huge thank you to Ben Freels for the opportunity to drive his car! I had an absolute blast behind the wheel. We made great progress with the setup throughout the night and put ourselves in a position to contend for the win. Unfortunately, a bad redraw and running out of time kept us from finishing where we felt we were capable of.
