1 - Provide funding to projects that will benefit communities in need, where applying geophysical science an information is critical to improving poor conditions or where dangerous conditions and hazards can be mitigated or removed using applied geoscience technology.
2 - Strengthen the global geophysical community through beneficial multidisciplinary partners

Meet GWB Nigeria water project's Principal Investigator, Dr. Solomon Onwuka, who along with his team is pioneering groundwater exploration techniques in low-permeability terrain while driving local Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene community programs aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goal 6.

GWB's recently completed project in Northern Ghana:
▪️ Established five solar-powered borehole water supply systems.
▪️ Provided 25,000 liters of storage for domestic use and drip irrigation
▪️ Benefitted over 13,500 residents, who utilized two million liters of water.
