Taking you back to 2015 where the trees at the Joe Station Dog Park had grown big enough to provide some pups with plenty of shade on a beautiful sunny day. 🐕🌳

Another day, another mulch project. This time we had 4th and 5th graders from Riverfield Country Day School come out and help us mulch, picked up tree limbs, pick weeds and trash! These students came to learn, work hard, and have fun. We had a blast, and we hope you all did as well. Can't wait to reconnect with this group throughout the school year. Big round of applause for this crew! 👏🌱

Please show some love to the group of volunteers from Benham, a Haskell Company that helped us mulch, removed T-Posts, picked up tree limbs, and trash along I-44 and Riverside today. This crew made it look easy. You all are welcome back anytime! Thanks for coming out and giving back to the Tulsa community. 👏🌱

Have you noticed some changes along Memorial Drive between 71st and 91st Streets? 🌳

As part of the Citywide Beautification Project, Up With Trees is partnering with the City of Tulsa to replace older Bradford Pear and Ash trees along the public right-of-way. Bradford Pears are known for becoming brittle and prone to breakage as they age, while Ash trees face an increasing threat from the invasive Emerald Ash Borer, an insect that has destroyed millions of ash trees across the country.

The best part? New trees are coming soon!

Beginning next month, Up With Trees will start planting new trees throughout these medians with species selected to thrive for generations while providing shade, beauty, cleaner air, and other valuable benefits to motorists and neighboring residents.

We're excited to get these new trees in the ground and share the transformation with you as this corridor continues to grow and improve.
