🚨💔 HIS DEADLINE PASSED. OTHERS DIDN’T MAKE IT. ROCKY IS STILL WAITING. 💔🚨

Rocky A184552 was on the most recent at-risk list at Tulsa Animal Services. His deadline came and went. No one came for him. Other dogs on that list were euthanized. 💔 But somehow… Rocky is still here.

Still waiting.
Still hoping.
Still looking for the person who will choose him.

Please understand, Rocky is not safe. He is not “in the clear.” He is simply on borrowed time.

This 3-year-old, 63 lb neutered Pit Bull mix- probably mixed with some type of scruffy dog, he deserves the chance so many dogs never get. He is more than a name and a number on a list. He is a dog who has been sitting in a shelter, waiting for someone to see him.
We need someone to step up for Rocky NOW.

About 30 years ago, I walked into Queenie’s looking for a job, and none of us could have known then just how deeply Brian’s life and mine would become woven into this place.

I certainly didn’t know that the guy in denim overalls who hired me all those years ago would become such a huge part of my own life — or that, decades later, we would find ourselves side by side, helping carry Queenie’s forward together.

Over the years, Brian became so much more than an owner here. He became part of the rhythm of Queenie’s — part of the decisions, the conversations, the laughter, the problem-solving, the celebrations, and all the ordinary days in between. He cared deeply about this place, but even more than that, he cared about the people in it.

He was the kind of owner who greeted tables, jumped into whatever shift needed him, and was always ready with a “put me to work.” He loved a good disco tune, had a great smile, an even better laugh, and brought an energy that people felt when he walked into the room.

And that is really the story of Queenie’s.

It has always been more than a restaurant. It is the people who have worked here for years and years, the customers who have become friends, the families who have grown up coming through our doors, and the countless relationships built around coffee, breakfast, lunch, and a table that somehow always felt a little like home.

Brian understood that. He helped protect it, grow it, and carry it forward.

Over these last several years especially, Brian poured so much of himself into Queenie’s. He helped make this little place something we could all be proud of — something worth protecting and something that will continue. His fingerprints are everywhere here, and they always will be.

As we say goodbye to Brian, the Queenie’s family is heartbroken, but incredibly grateful that so much of him will remain here — in the people he loved, in the community he helped build, and in the story of Queenie’s.

🚨💙 MONEY NEEDS SOMEONE TO SEE HIM — DEADLINE MONDAY 9/14 AT 6 PM 💙🚨

Money was adopted… but sadly, his adoption fell through, and this sweet boy is back at Tulsa Animal Services waiting for someone to give him the chance he deserves. 💔

Now he is facing a deadline of Monday, September 14th at 6 PM. 😭

Money is a 3-year-old neutered Pittie mix who has already been through so much. He came into Tulsa Animal Services injured and unable to use his front leg, and his injury was severe enough that he ultimately needed an amputation.

But here’s the thing about Money… he didn’t let losing a leg change who he is. 🥹

This tripod boy is happy, energetic, affectionate, and ready to show someone that three legs are more than enough when you have a whole lot of love to give. 🐾💙

Money may need slow, appropriate introductions with other dogs, but the right person is going to see past his scars and see the incredible dog underneath.
Someone out there is looking for a dog exactly like Money. ❤️ A dog who has overcome so much. A dog who just needs someone to choose him and never give up on him.

Money doesn’t have forever. He needs an adopter, foster, or rescue commitment before Monday at 6 PM.
