Unity Travelers

This is the part I hate - saying good bye to the Unity Travelers until the next time. New friends, great memories.

Be home tomorrow afternoon!

We crossed the 45th parallel that marks the midway point between North Pole and Equator.

Then crossed over the original tracks from the Orient Express which still runs several times a year.

Went to visit castle of King Carol at Peles, last stop at a Cantacuzino castle, where Wednesday was filmed for Netflix.

Enjoyed the grandeur of the Carpathian Mountains. Heading back to hotel and
Packing up.

Love the city of Bucharest!!!

Left the Danube behind and headed inland to Bucharest.

What a great day! Leaving Belgrade and heading toward the Iron Gate section of the river. The day is cool, but beautiful. Sailing along!

Fun evening in Belgrade. The city lives outside!

Yesterday was a long day as we had to bus around Budapest because of the Danube shutdown. Although long we stopped and had lunch and a special horse show.

We are at the juncture of low water and will be changing ships tomorrow. Feel sad for my beloved city of Budapest but she still have us a beautiful day.

Bratislava- what a wonderful city! It was fun to return and spend the morning exploring. From the castle to cathedral, to the old shopping square they have it all!
A grey day but only a little rain. Returned to ship - had a nap. Nice to really slow down to river life!
