God is on the move!
What a wonderful time of fellowship last weekend with 20 of our Living Hope family members! We may be scattered for now, but we are still Living Hope—sharing the Gospel and feeding people.
Since 2017, Living Hope/Wrestle Against Hunger has continued giving out groceries without interruption. This year, we’ve already distributed around 3,000 bags of groceries at Zion Community Church in West Tulsa—1,000 more than last year, and the year isn’t over!
We may be without a church building for now, but we are still working with the Builder, Christ Jesus. It’s not about the building—it’s about what He is building in and through us. We’re grateful for Pastor Kujanga Jackson, his Kingdom Builders message, and Zion for giving WAH a home these past three years.
God is faithful. God is good. He never fails!
Here are a few clips from our gathering. Thank you, Dennis Loane, for capturing these moments! ❤️

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you, who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time. In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls. 1 Peter 1:3-9 NIV

No matter how difficult the past has been, God is able to bring renewal, restoration, and a fresh beginning. The Bible reminds us that old things can pass away and all things can become new through faith and perseverance. Even when life knocks us down, we are not defeated, because we can rise again stronger, wiser, and renewed in spirit. God’s mercies are new every morning, and He specializes in turning setbacks into comebacks, brokenness into purpose, and difficult seasons into testimonies of hope. Every new day is another opportunity to grow, rebuild, and walk boldly into the new thing God is preparing ahead.
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles…”— Isaiah 40:31
Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it?”— Isaiah 43:19
