Since you’re here… our debut EP “Echoes” drops Wednesday. We’ve been posting a lot but we haven’t really got into why we are here. All of us in ZS have been touring and releasing music in various acts in “the music industry” for the better part of our adult lives. Management group after management group, agent after agent, label after distro after label after distro. We had become so burned on the music business that we had become jaded. Moments of success didn’t feel like success, failures seemed devastating. All along with chapters each endured of our own personal hell. After a life impacting van fire incident, we all took a good moment off focussing on this dream of ours we’ve held tight since childhood. It was only a moment before the natural call to do what we were made to do returned however. We started writing. Not on a schedule, not for any purpose, other than just having fun. One song tuned into two, and then to three, and so on. Until we decided that we needed to release them.

This project has allowed me personally to connect to music more than ever before. I’m writing things into music, that I’ve struggled to even think about previously. The tens of thousands of you who have streamed our songs, and the hundreds who have messaged, commented, and supported this venture have quite literally injected life into it. Your support has given me the confidence to continue facing some of the darkest moments of my life. Having other people relate to those moments is indescribable. Thank you.

We are excited to bring you “Echoes” Wednesday, but know it is just the begging. New material is in the works, music videos are being edited, shows are about to be announced, and we could not be happier; Not just to see your excitement for what we are doing, but for the genuine excitement you’ve given us and this brand new band.
