“From the Bible’s perspective, a leader in the home is that man who accepts responsibility for his family—to love, provide for, and protect them and to direct them along biblical guidelines. Given that, I believe every man can be a leader, regardless of his personality. He can do it even if he lacks the inspiration, articulation, and vision of a natural leader. Leadership of the family as a core responsibility is within the grasp of every man." - Robert Lewis
"A father's greatness with his family is based on his care for them. The father's ability to lead is based on his willingness to serve them. Serving is not servitude. Servitude is bo***ge. Serving is a voluntary subscription of love." - Dr. Ed Cole
1 Timothy 3:4-5 He must manage his own family well, having children who respect and obey him. For if a man cannot manage his own household, how can he take care of God’s church?

The betrayal. The pain. The questions. The heartbreak.
Infidelity is one of the deepest wounds a marriage can endure.
Yet this is the truth we hold onto. What the enemy intended for destruction, God can use for restoration. No sin is too great and no marriage is beyond the reach of the grace of Jesus Christ. We have witnessed it again and again. When couples place their broken pieces at the foot of the cross, God meets them there. Not with shame but with healing. Not with judgment but with mercy. Not with fear but with hope.
If your marriage is hurting, please know this. There is hope. God is still in the business of redeeming what has been lost. Here is a path toward rebuilding:
• Allow emotions to be felt. Grieve, cry, and pray.
• End the affair completely. No contact and no secrets.
• Be truthful. Darkness cannot remain where there is light.
• Take full responsibility. Confess without blame.
• Seek godly counsel. Wise, faith filled guidance truly matters.
• Rebuild trust through consistent love and integrity.
• Do not merely repair the past. Build a new covenant marriage.
• Understand that forgiveness takes time. God can soften hearts.
• Keep Christ at the center. He is the Healer.
Affairs do not have to end marriages, but they do change them forever. When both hearts are willing to repent, rebuild, and surrender the journey to God, what was once shattered can be transformed into something stronger, more honest, and more deeply rooted in truth than ever before.

We can choose many things, and those choices carry power for both good and bad. One of the most significant choices we make is how we see others, especially our spouses. We can focus on what frustrates us, or we can choose to notice the ways they’re striving to grow. We can define them by their weaknesses, or we can measure them by their strengths. We can interpret their quirks as attempts to irritate us, or as the unique threads that make them who they are. How you see your spouse is a choice, and what you choose to focus on will ultimately shape the way you experience your marriage. - Danny Delgado

True love is neither physical or romantic. True love is an acceptance of all that is, has been, will be, and will not be. Love is not the warm affectionate feelings you have towards someone but your willingness to give the best of yourself to someone else, requiring nothing in return. Here is a story which illustrates this perfectly. - Danny Delgado

"It was approximately 8:30 AM on a busy morning when an elderly gentleman in his eighties arrived to have stitches removed from his thumb. He stated he was in a hurry as he had an appointment at 9:00 AM. I took his vital signs and had him take a seat. I knew it would take more than an hour before someone would be able to attend to him. I saw him check his watch anxiously for the time and decided to evaluate his wound since I was not busy with another patient.
On examination, the wound was well healed. Hence, I talked to one of the doctors to get the supplies to remove his sutures and redress his wound. We began to engage in a conversation while I was taking care of his wound. I asked him if he had another doctor's appointment later as he was in such a hurry. The gentleman told me no and said he needed to go to the nursing home to have breakfast with his wife.
I inquired about her health. He told me she had been in the nursing home for a while as she was a victim of Alzheimer's disease. I probed further and asked if she would be upset if he was slightly late. He replied she no longer knew who he was and she had not been able to recognize him since five years ago. I asked him in surprise, 'And you still go every morning, even though she doesn't know who you are?' He smiled as he patted my hand and said, 'She doesn't know me, but I still know who she is.'
I had to hold back my tears as he left. I had goose bumps on my arm, and I thought, 'That is the kind of love I want in my life.'"

Communication in marriage is not simply about saying the right words. It is about making sure the person you love actually hears your heart.
You can say something with the best intentions and still leave your spouse feeling dismissed, unheard, or misunderstood. That is why healthy communication requires more than speaking. It requires listening, paying attention, and caring about how your words are being received.
Because in marriage, what you meant to say matters. But what your spouse heard, understood, and felt matters too.

Your spouse is not promised to you forever.
Treasure their smile. Notice their laugh. Be grateful for their presence. Too often we get caught up in routines, responsibilities, and busyness, and we forget what a gift it is to simply walk through life with the one we love.
Don’t wait for anniversaries, holidays, or “special occasions” to show appreciation. The greatest gift you can give your spouse is to see them, value them, and cherish them today.
A strong marriage isn’t built on grand gestures alone. It is built on daily gratitude, daily kindness, and daily love. When you choose to honor your spouse in the ordinary, your marriage becomes extraordinary.
Treasure them while you have them. Love deeply. Appreciate often. Never take your spouse for granted.

Forgiveness is not a feeling; it is a commitment. It is a choice to show mercy, not to hold the offense up against the offender. Forgiveness is an expression of love. - Gary Chapman

The same God that spoke the universe into existence is also the author of your marriage. The same God that breathed life into clay can also breathe life into your situation. Some of you may be bleeding and broken and just want the hurting to stop. You may not necessarily want to quit but you are just so tired of the pain. Please hang on and remember that nothing is impossible with God. Trust me when I say that He can create a lasting marriage out of the pain of your current situation. Give to God whatever is left of your marriage and watch Him turn your broken pieces into breathtaking peace and a magnificent triumph. Can you trust God with your marriage, no matter how impossible it may seem to you? Your miracle may simply be waiting on your submission. - Danny Delgado

When your husband or wife is having trouble coping, either with the world or with you, this is not the time for comparing stress levels to see who has it worse. Instead, try to find ways to be a stress reliever for your spouse. One of the easiest and most effective things to do is to ask them, "What do you need from me right now?"
It is imperative that you ask this with a sincere and loving heart or do not ask it at all. Furthermore, you must really care about what your spouse needs and try to provide it as best you can. You might learn what is needed is rather simple and something you can easily do.
On the other hand, if you are being asked this question be sensitive and realistic. This is not the time to provide a shopping list of things you have been wanting your spouse to do. They are asking what you need "right now" so thoughtfully and carefully consider what they could do to help you "right now".
If both husband and wife get in the habit of doing this on a regular basis eventually you will find that simply asking the question alone will be enough to work wonders in reducing the stress in your spouse.
