Turlock Rural responded to 32 calls within the district, 38 general alarms and continued working alongside our neighboring agencies through mutual aid — giving assistance 6 times and receiving it 4 times.

Another month of showing up for our community and for each other. 🤝

If a career in the fire service is something you’re working toward, this is an opportunity to gain real-world experience, build your skills and serve your community at the same time. That experience matters when it comes time to compete for a career position.

Qualified applicants will be invited to the Physical Agility Test this Saturday, September 26 at 9 a.m.

Twenty-five years ago today, our nation changed forever.

Among those we lost on September 11, 2001, were 343 FDNY members who answered the call and entered the World Trade Center to help others escape.

Their sacrifice is woven into the history of the fire service and will never be forgotten.

Today, we remember them, their families, and every life lost that day.

August by the numbers 🚒

August kept our crews busy both at home and beyond our district. In addition to responding to calls locally and assisting our neighboring agencies, Turlock Rural personnel spent a combined 14 days deployed on two strike team assignments.

Our personnel spent part of their 14-day deployment working alongside crews on the fire before returning home safely yesterday.

The Timber Fire remains active, with crews continuing their work on the incident. Stay safe out there. 🙏
