Volunteer at the Legacy of Hope fundraiser for the United Samaritans Foundation on November 21st at Howard Prep in Modesto. The club/organization with the highest number of volunteers for the night shift will win $300!

Please note that this will only be applicable for the night shift, in which all members must sign-in and sign-out for the last shift to verify participation.

📢Hey Faculty! The deadline for Fall Mini-Grants for service learning has been extended!

The new deadline for all applications is now October 4th, 2026 at 11:59pm.

Join us for September's Turlock Community Collaborative Meeting on Tuesday September 15th at 1:30pm. This month we will be hearing from Love Stanislaus as well as Stanislaus County Planning & Development, along with being able to hear about other community events happening during this month.

This meeting will be held virtually, so if you are interested in attending for this month, please contact Scott Qualle from the Office of Community-Engaged Learning or follow the links in our LinkTree to receive the link for the meeting.

We are looking for volunteers for the annual Legacy of Hope Fundraiser hosted by United Samaritans Foundation. We are looking for volunteers to help share the kindness to others by making this event happen on November 21st at Howard Prep in Modesto for the Morning shift (8am-1pm), Evening Shift (4pm-9pm), and/or Night Shift (9pm-11pm).

Happy Labor Day, Warrior Family!

As a reminder, our office will be closed today in observance of Labor Day. We will be open again on Tuesday September 8th at our normal hours!

Also as classes are beginning, if you need assistance with filling out S4 or anything else related to Service Learning, Community-Engaged Learning, or academic Internships, we are available to help in MSR 240.

The Community Brunch will be hosted by Without Permission with the help of the Costa Family Foundation on September 13th, 2026. This event is a fundraiser to raise funds to fight s*x trafficking and at-risk children and families in our community. The event will be held at the Modesto Center Plaza on Sunday, September 13th from 9am to 2pm. The cost per person is $50 in which you will be provided access to an All-You-Can-Eat Brunch, and several large raffle items will be raffled away during the event, ranging from free vacation trips to a brand-new car. Join Humility, Kindness & Love (HKL) on Saturday September 5th for their HKL Walk to Awaken Humility, Kindness, & Love in Every Human Heart on the Globe! The event will be held at Donnelly Park starting at 6:00pm and will be there until 8:00pm. There will be activities, connection, and free snacks available for participants.
