New Art To Go packs out tomorrow. Geared for ages sixish to 11. Pick 'em up at the front desk or drive-thru. No library card required.
Magee & Koenig first-graders visited the library to hear stories, play, create, imagine & explore—and to receive their very own library cards. Our First Grade Super Library User initiative helps children & families make the library a regular part of their lives. Because when children grow up reading, wondering, discovering & returning for more, they’re building much more than a reading habit—they’re building a foundation for learning. Talk to your first-grader about this past week’s field trip. We witnessed such joy when the kids got their lanyards containing their library cards. Capitalize on that excitement; return to the library with them to check out books. Stay a while to read & play together. And stay tuned for upcoming Super Library User events.
Lots of fun at the last adult craft program making book-page feather bookmarks. Next up: Spooky Macrame Critters Saturday, Oct. 17 at 10:30 AM. Registration required; call 920.793.8888.
