Communicating with spirit was always an interest of mine. After a few unexplained instances when I was younger, it REALLY had my curiosity. Fast forward to a few years ago and I realized I was looking for my purpose. Through a lot of inner work and a lot of practice I have gotten to the point of bringing my gifts to the world. I have given readings as a medium, connecting loved ones with those who have passed, and I have also unexpectedly given channeled readings for someone that was simply looking for advice on where to turn next. I realized yesterday I don't have a cornucopia in my house. I decided I wasn't okay with that. 😆 Which got me thinking... a cornucopia represents abundance... but that has to be just the summary, right?
It speaks to enoughness becoming shareable—a life so nourished that something naturally spills over.
It carries the wisdom of harvest: what has been tended, waited for, and grown in its proper season. Its fruits and seeds remind us that wealth has many forms: resources, beauty, creativity, pleasure, belonging, and the possibility of what comes next. And because I am the emotional being that I am, when I think about the harvest, I think about the people I harvest with. The memories. The laughter. The moment in time we're chosen to spend with others sharing a common goal.
Then there is the vessel itself. It represents our ability to receive and hold what life offers—without minimizing it, rushing past it, or feeling we must immediately give it all away.
The cornucopia asks: What in me is learning to receive? What am I ready to cultivate—not just for survival, but for a fuller life?
Abundance is not always about having more.
Sometimes it is recognizing what is already here—and allowing it to feed something else.
