🍁 We are so fortunate to have “local” artisans add their beautiful artwork to our little shop! Our friend Heidi, from Edgerton, WI, pieces and sews these delightful felted candle mats BY HAND. We have just a few to sell this season…and more to come at Christmastime!

🍁 As we head into our second week of the season, here’s “The List” for you to peruse. Our new fragrances for fall are Maple Walnut Pancakes and Heart & Home. Stop in and check them out!

🍁 We went to market on Monday, so you’ll find some new fall decor items in the shop this weekend!

The Candle Cottage is OPEN for the season! And here’s another new fragrance from our shelves…

Seaside Cotton: Our family visits Panama City Beach, Florida in February each year. This fragrance reminds us of a beach towel that’s has been drying in the sun, paired with a splash of coconut suntan lotion. We can’t help but smile and say “Ahhh,” those were great days in the sand!

We’re just putting the finishing touches on our new, specially made by us, scent: Hummingbird Cake. 💛 “What in the world is that?!” you ask…

Hummingbird Cake is a banana-pineapple spice cake originating in Jamaica and a popular dessert in the southern United States since the 1970s. Ingredients include ripe banana, pineapple, cinnamon, pecans, and coconut. It is often served with cream cheese frosting (taken from a combination of descriptions online).

We had a dear friend test this for us and her teen son says, “It’s my favorite!” Best compliment ever!

So, if you have teenaged sons, or if you just really like pineapple-banana-coconut-nutty goodness, give this one a try!! 😄
