Do you ever wish you could fast-forward through the hard stuff?

The pile of laundry.
The Chaturanga.
The boring day.
The loss.
The diagnosis.

You think, “If I could just fast-forward through this part, I’d be okay. Maybe I can skip this somehow.”

But we know we can’t.

We can numb it. Avoid it. Distract ourselves from it. Keep moving so we don’t have to feel it. But eventually, what we avoid catches up with us.

Yoga teaches us to sit with it. Let it move through us.

We don’t have to be afraid to be quiet or still. We don’t have to constantly run from what we’re feeling.

Let it catch you.

And let it catch you here—in this studio, on your mat—where you can meet it with breath and compassion. Where you’re free to feel it, sit with it, and move through it.

Yoga is good for our physical health, yes. But some of its most valuable lessons have nothing to do with how flexible or toned our bodies become.

Sometimes the hardest seasons are teaching us.

The moments we desperately want to rush through are where the epiphanies are waiting.

Sitting in the unknown gives us tools we never would have learned any other way.

And sometimes, the thing we thought we needed to fast-forward through becomes the very thing that teaches us how to help someone else through theirs.

So maybe we don’t have to rush through every hard thing.

Maybe we can stay.

Just a girl, her Dr Pepper, and a bottle-fed baby kitten.

Honestly, this is pretty much Nikki in her natural habitat. We just need to throw a yoga mat in the photo to make it perfectly accurate.

She loves her Dr Pepper. She loves her bottle babies. And apparently, she also has a habit of picking up random beach towels in parking lots.

A few days ago, Nikki was cleaning up a parking lot and came across a beach towel. She didn’t need it or have a plan for it. She just knew it was trash that needed to be picked up.

Just hours later, she came across an injured opossum. And guess what she remembered? The beach towel!

She was able to use it to safely scoop up the opossum and get it to a wildlife rescue vet.

We spend so much of our lives trying to prepare for what’s next. We make plans, schedules, lists, backup plans for our backup plans.

But sometimes life doesn’t tell you what you’re preparing for.

Sometimes you just pick up the towel. You do the good thing because it’s right in front of you. You follow the little nudge to help. And later, you realize you were being prepared for something you couldn’t possibly have seen coming.

So maybe that’s the lesson. We don’t have to know what’s coming to be ready for it.

Just keep showing up. Keep paying attention. Keep doing the little things that feel right.

And maybe keep a beach towel handy.

You never know what’s coming. 🤍

Sometimes you walk into a room looking for yoga… and find so much more. 🤍

If you’re looking for community, connection, support, and a place where you truly feel like you belong, look no further than flow. Yoga.

flow. is made up of a beautifully diverse group of humans who cheer each other on, hold space for one another, and celebrate the little wins. You’ll notice it when you walk through the door that you’re not just seen and cared for by your instructors. You’re seen by the people practicing right beside you, too.

Who you surround yourself with matters.

The right people can encourage you when you doubt yourself. They can inspire you when you feel stuck. They can remind you of who you are when you’ve forgotten.

And sometimes… community looks like a room full of people folding towels together.

We hope you already have a community that makes you feel supported, seen, and celebrated.

But if you don’t, come find yours here.

Walk in. Say hi. Introduce yourself. Roll out your mat. You do not have to do life alone.

Meet me at flow.
You never know what could happen. Your new best friend could be waiting! ✨

When you came for yoga, but the studio manager had other plans. Sorry, Nikki. This Labor Day, our flow is Vacuum Vinyasa, and our intention is “wax on, wax off.”

We’re CLOSED Sunday + Monday for deep cleaning and sprucing up of the studio. Consider this your official notice that no one is safe. If you show up, you’ll be put to work. 🧹🧹

We’ll be back Tuesday with our regular schedule!

Don’t on the 6th or 7th. 🤣

Happy Labor Day weekend! ✨

Nikki and Maren are “dancing” their way into September! Maybe it’ll even bring us some cooler weather? We can dream.

Either way, flow. Yoga. is here for you through all the transitions—from summertime chaos to the new rhythm that fall brings. 🍂

Our September schedule is LIVE and ready for you to book your time on your mat. 🧘🏼‍♀️

While you’re here, treat yourself to a hoodie—they’re currently on sale! Maybe wearing one will help us summon some cold weather?!⛄️

Please note: We’ll be closed on Labor Day, September 7, for a deep clean of the studio.

New month. New season. Same flow.

At flow. Yoga we keep it simple. That’s why there’s a period behind our name. We carry that philosophy into our beef, too. Keep it simple. Uncomplicated. Real. Period.

When you aren’t sure who to trust for quality beef, you can trust Beaver Creek. A farm out in Bullard, TX that not only gives back to our community, but provides nourishment we can confidently serve at our family tables—all at a very competitive price.

Know your farmer. Know what you’re putting on your family’s table. 🥩

🌵 Find Your Edge retreat is almost at capacity! 🏜️

ONLY TWO SPOTS LEFT!

Reserve your spot at flowyogatyler.com under the Retreat tab.

Allison Sanders joined us last year and said:

“I went in search of the edge on a whim. I had said I wasn’t going at least a dozen times. The night before the retreat, I decided to ‘run with scissors’ and booked a flight to Phoenix for the next morning. In the red rocks of the Sonoran desert, I found so much more than my edge. Every day I stretched far beyond what I ever thought I could do. Find Your Edge was certainly a catalyst for personal growth that has continued long after our return from the desert.”

One unforgettable adventure where anything can happen. Are you coming? 🌵✨

Swipe left to see the beautiful colors. 👀 🌅

You may be wondering what Clint, Nikki and Fred are so fascinated with in this photo. What they’ve discovered is that Beaver Creek Farm has milkweed! 🦋

Milkweed is native to East Texas, but its numbers have been declining as natural grasslands are lost to development. It thrives in open pastures and prairies—and it plays a very important role in the life cycle of monarch butterflies. Milkweed is the ONLY host plant for monarch caterpillars, providing the food they need to grow. 🐛

Monarch populations have declined significantly over the past few decades, so what a treat for Nikki to discover this life-sustaining plant growing right here on the farm that feeds us fresh meat and eggs.

Yoga reminds us that we are all connected. The milkweed growing in your yard sustains monarch caterpillars, which grow into butterflies that help pollinate the plants and ecosystems around us. 🌎

So if you come across milkweed, don’t mow it down or cut it back. Let it live. Let it provide.

No one is an island. We don’t just need one another—we need the plants, animals, insects and ecosystems that make up the beautiful web of life around us.

We hope you feel connected today. Not only to yourself, but to the world and all the life around you. You are supported in a million ways today. 🤍

Have you heard?! flow. is going west this November! 🌵

Alison joined us for our inaugural Find Your Edge retreat last year, and had a lot to say about her experience:

“If you’re on the fence about the retreat offered by flow. Yoga, then I’m here to convince you that it will be the best choice you make! I’ve been lucky to know flow. Yoga since its inception. Nikki has a true gift for bringing people together and creating an environment you don’t want to leave. When they posted the first Find Your Edge retreat information [last year], I was not going to pass up that opportunity! Take the atmosphere that Nikki and flow. Yoga create and elevate it with nature! Not only does flow. Yoga bring their signature touch to nature, they also take all the planning out of the trip. My flight was made for me, most meals were arranged, as well as all transportation and lodging. Happy travels!”

Ready to find your edge? Spots for this year’s retreat are filling quickly, so reserve yours today!
