"I always try to register for classes as soon as my enrollment window opens. Some required courses are only offered one semester out of the year, so getting in early ensures you get the schedule you want before classes fill up. Registering early is also great because it gives you plenty of time to meet with your advisor for guidance. Or, if you’re no longer a freshman and feel confident in your degree plan, you can just easily select the classes yourself! Planning ahead keeps everything stress-free and makes it so much easier to balance school with my job as an assistant producer."

"After your first semester at UT Tyler, enrolling in classes is quick and convenient because you can register on your own from the comfort of your home or even on your phone. I always try to enroll in my classes as soon as registration opens because, as you move into higher level courses, class options become less flexible. Enrolling early helps me plan my academic schedule, work schedule, and other commitments. I also find it helpful to meet with my academic advisor. They help me stay on track with my degree plan, provide course recommendations, and let me know if there are classes that are only offered during certain semesters. Planning ahead can make a big difference, and when it comes to enrolling, it is never too early."
