Saturday morning brought a little bit cooler temps, thankfully, and it was a beautiful day to serve! We can’t say enough great things about the group from Bullard Methodist! Their congregation had a supplies drive for us beforehand and WOW did they ever go above and beyond! 🤯 🙌🙌🙌 We are so thankful for them!
Word and worship was very special with Brandon and a powerful testimony from Scott…what a story…God is so good to be beside us thru the highs and the lows!
Our Meal Sponsor was “Sam” (thank you!), and our sack lunches were provided by our faithful friends at Crossbrand Cowboy Church (thank you!)…what a joy to serve with these special friends that are family!
To all that are there each and every week—we truly appreciate you! To those that show up on random Saturdays to serve—we appreciate you, as well! What a wonderful and caring community we have, all thanks and praises go to God! He is SO good! ♥️

This is so spot on!

Tired of low power mode?

Proverbs 11:25

A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.”

The world says, “Hold on to what you have.” God says, “Open your hands.”

Proverbs 11:25 teaches a kingdom principle: when God blesses you, He doesn’t intend for the blessing to stop with you. He wants it to flow through you.

Think about a garden hose.

Water comes into one end, but the hose was never designed to keep the water. It was designed to carry the water somewhere else.

Imagine plugging the end and saying, “This water is mine. I’m keeping every drop.”

Eventually, the pressure builds.

But open the nozzle, and suddenly dry grass becomes green, wilted flowers stand back up, and thirsty plants come alive.

That’s the Christian life.

God pours grace, encouragement, forgiveness, resources, and love into us—not simply so we can say, “Look how blessed I am,” but so somebody else can experience His goodness through us.

You weren’t just blessed to contain it. You were blessed to carry it.

The greatest example of Proverbs 11:25 isn’t a wealthy philanthropist.

It’s Jesus.

Jesus gave His time.

Jesus touched people others wouldn’t touch.

Jesus hung out with people religious society rejected.

Jesus noticed people everybody else walked past.

And ultimately, Jesus gave Himself.

At the cross, Jesus didn’t hold anything back.

He poured out His life so people like us could receive life.

“God didn’t recharge you just so you could walk around at 100%. He recharged you so you could help someone who spiritually feels like this……

Goodness, what a full and beautiful morning under that bridge! So many lives touched and so many amazing volunteers! (We just filled our last volunteer spot for 2026–wow! Look at God’s provision!)

The sweet group from Sinclair Church of Christ in Arp served again…there is always so much heart that comes with this group! They truly show the love of Jesus to our friends! What a huge blessing they always are as they step outside the walls of church and love our neighbors!

Breaking Chains Ministry also served this morning with an abundance of clothing, shoes and lots of love for our friends! It’s a beautiful thing to see those that have “been there, done that” give so freely and genuinely of their time and gifts, and build relationships with those that might otherwise be overlooked! All the glory to God!

Kim Beckham provided a “meaty” message and Toni Petty shared her lovely voice and worship music! Always thankful every single time they share with us!

Our Meal Sponsor this morning—our faithful friends at Central Tyler! And sack lunches were provided by Church of the Pines! We couldn’t do this each week without yall! So grateful! 🙌🙌🙌

It was flu shot day for anyone that wanted one thanks to the UT Tyler School of Medicine and the SNPHA students! We were talking this morning, and we think they have partnered with us for 3 years now, doing health and wellness checks for our friends every third Saturday of the month! They really are a fantastic group and we are so thankful for them!

I’ve got to give a shout out to a few of our teams—from our set up guys, our kitchen crew, our supplies trailer team, our table and chair team, our core volunteers, our prayer team, our children’s ministry team, and our sno cone team…so much love and gratitude for each of you! Love God, love others—yall each exhibit what the true meaning of this is! There is so much that goes on each week in preparation for Saturdays, and I’m in awe of how God has placed each of you in this ministry! 🙏🏼

And just one more thing…there is a sweet young man (and his parents) that came to serve this morning. Ewan, I am so excited to learn more about you and your heart for others as you fulfill your dreams of raising funds to be a Meal Sponsor! I’m pretty sure he will be President someday, after speaking with him just a short time! So if you see a corporate-sponsored, matching donations lemonade stand in a neighborhood near you—please stop and help this beautiful little human meet his goal! Great job, Mom and Dad! 🙌🙌🙌

It was a New Life Worship Center kind of morning at Hunger For Love! What a wonderful group of servant hearts! Not only did they love on our friends but they also sponsored our breakfast of coffee, juice, biscuits and gravy with sausage, granola bars, oranges and bananas! We are so thankful for them! Truly the hands and feet of Jesus!

Word and worship…beyond moving. When the fringes are reached and respond with “is God not through with me?” at the end…He is moving under that bridge! Thank you, Sandra and Tawnya and Charles! 🙏🏼

And what a treat it was to see our sweet Barbara as she brought sack lunches for our friends! God is so, so good!

And last but not least…we have been seeing so many new faces on Saturday mornings…men, women and a few children. To be completely transparent, we have gone thru almost 4 weeks of supplies in two weeks! Our supplies team is very mindful about not duplicating given items, so that just tells you how many new faces and therefore new needs we are seeing! Our biggest needs are pretty consistent…tents, sleeping bags, body wipes (disposable washcloths), men’s and women’s socks, bug sprays, and men’s and women’s underwear (M, L, XL most asked for), and being optimistic that cooler weather is around the corner—blankets, as we have maybe two or three in the trailer! These items can all be found on our Amazon wishlist which I will drop the link in the comments, OR if you feel inclined to make a donation for “Supplies”, that would also be a huge blessing!
