The forecast for is a flood of state-of-the-art technology with scattered solutions found throughout the day.

That sounds quite pleasant, doesn't it?

To fully soak it in, drop by stand A23 and see what can measure for you!

There is such thing as "too much of a good thing."

Plants need light to grow. However, too much light can practically cook them alive!
Plants need water to grow. Yet, too much water drowns their roots, keeping them from the oxygen in the soil that they need.
Plants need carbon dioxide in the air to perform photosynthesis. But, you guessed it, if the concentration of CO2 is too high, even that causes plant distress.

When it comes to controlled agriculture, growers help boost growth and plant health by monitoring and manipulating their environment. hashtag provides reliable instruments that measure many of these essential variables, such as:
🌡️ Air temperature and plant canopy temperature
🌫️ CO2 and humidity
🌱 Soil moisture, EC, and oxygen concentration
☀️ PAR, ePAR, DLI, light quality, and light pollution during dark periods
Talk to us to learn how people have utilized this to modify their greenhouse setup, track the environment over time, and be alerted when a variable is out of the desired range.

You can see how our sensors connect with Aranet PRO technology to provide more convenient, wireless measurements at Booth 1037.

How Dark is Dark Enough? Darkness level requirements for plants with Dr. Bruce Bugbee 09/28/2026

Living things react to light. During a solar eclipse, I witnessed the birds stop singing and the crickets start chirping even though it was the middle of the day. Perhaps you've seen flower buds close at night and open in the morning. Maybe you're someone who can only sleep in a dark room with blackout curtains.

Dark periods impact plant growth. Growers controlling their plant environment ought to know just how dark their "total darkness" is and if that is dark enough for their crop type.

Watch Dr. Bruce Bugbee's video "How Dark is Dark Enough?" where he explains what research has found is adequate for many plants, with a deeper look at the data for two specific cannabis species.

"Growers are no longer focused solely on total light intensity" 09/09/2026

Aurora provides continuous spectral measurements from 350–850 nm, helping growers move beyond light intensity to understand light quality at the crop level.

"Growers are no longer focused solely on total light intensity" With greater control comes a greater need for accurate, continuous data. This is particularly true for LED lighting, where growers are moving beyond simply measuring light intensity and are…

The Quest to understanding why the Great Salt Lake is drying up 07/13/2026

Utah's Department of Natural Resources is doing an energy balance study across the Great Salt Lake — a lake that supports millions of migratory birds, brine shrimp, and the communities around it. Their goal is to understand how much water loss comes from natural evapotranspiration vs. the invasive phragmites reeds that have been draining the wetlands since the '90s.
