As is the case with any new learning experience, we get fired up and motivated to use our new knowledge and skills. But often that motivation wanes when we are faced with the realities back at work and discover that using the new skills isn’t as easy as it was at workshop. At that point, we might find ourselves falling back into our old habits.

The purpose of this L.E.T. Refresher Workshop is to offer graduates the opportunity to review and practice the L.E.T. skills and then apply them to real-life situations so that they and their organization can derive the most benefit from this model.

When people work in a climate of openness, cooperation and collaboration, they function more effectively—they have higher motivation to be more involved, more creative and more productive.

The goal of L.E.T. is to help people create such a climate.

We know that learning and applying the communication and conflict resolution skills that contribute to this outcome takes a lot of commitment and practice.

And these L.E.T. Refresher participants are enjoying refreshing their skills this week, online, with one of our Master Facilitators, Meike Lemmens. :)

Everyone starts at the beginning when learning a new skill—and learning the Gordon Model skills is exactly the same as learning any new sport, language or job related skill.

All take practice, patience and making mistakes over time to become an expert.
