The Pump House USED TO host intimate acoustic concerts. Please don't write asking for a gig. We miss those days, but they are gone. The following describes what the pump house USED TO BE used for:
The Pump House WAS a neighborhood-run listening room located in the heart of the Bailey Neighborhood in East Lansing (368 Orchard St.). It is a converted water-pumping house built by the WPA in the 1930’s. This intimate atmosphere provided a comfortable and involving listening environment; it WAS a very special way to listen to music.

Tret Fure is performing at Park Lake House Concerts, hosted by Leon Puttler.
For details on getting to Leon's house on Park Lake in Bath, please RSVP to [email protected], or by calling Leon at (517) 862-6791.
For Tret’s show, doors open at 7:00 PM, with the concert starting at 7:30 PM. The suggested donation is $25 per person payable when you arrive. BYOB and any snacks you might want to share with others. Leon will also provide some snacks for everyone.
Tret Fure began her career at the age of 16, singing in coffeehouses and campuses in the Midwest. She is an award-winning singer songwriter whose music demonstrates a willingness to confront the most pressing issues of our day with courage, compassion and a deep sense of humanity. Her songs speak to the heart, and to the soul. Her career has spanned over 51 years over which she recorded with, and produced, some of the best of women’s music.
