𝐃𝐫. 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐥𝐲𝐧 is an accomplished higher education professional, educator, and community-focused leader with a strong commitment to student success, access, and institutional growth.

Most recently, she served as Director of Workforce Student Support at Orange County Community College. She previously served as Director of the Haverstraw Learning Center at Rockland Community College, bringing experience that closely aligns with her new role.

Throughout her career, she has worked to create educational opportunities, strengthen community and workforce partnerships, support students and families, and help institutions respond to the evolving needs of the communities they serve.

As Director, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐥𝐲𝐧 will provide leadership and oversight for the Mount Vernon Extension Center while becoming familiar with its operations, academic programs, student services, partnerships, and strategic priorities. She looks forward to working collaboratively with faculty, staff, students, college leadership, and community stakeholders to support the Center’s continued success.

Westchester-Putnam Workforce Board Focuses on Clean Energy Careers

On Tuesday, October 13 from 8:30 AM to noon, the Westchester-Putnam Workforce Board will host its 2026 Annual Meeting, “Building the Clean Energy Talent Machine: Aligning Training with Opportunity,” at SUNY Westchester Community College in Valhalla.

The event will bring together employers, job seekers, workforce professionals, and training partners to explore opportunities in the growing clean energy sector.

The program will include a keynote on the state of the clean energy workforce and interactive breakout sessions focused on career pathways, employer hiring needs and incentives, and better aligning workforce training with industry demand.
