Last night, two of our Valhalla Schools Foundation Board Members attended Open House at Virginia Road Elementary School, gave a short presentation about our Foundation, and welcomed people at our sign up table. The response from our VRES community was so gratifying. People really understood and appreciated what we do AS A COMMUNITY, and so many parents signed up to help.
Thank you!!! If you’re interested in signing up to help, but missed us last night, please message us here!

The Valhalla Schools Foundation Board is proud to announce we were able to fully fund all of the grant applications for the coming school year! We will present our check to the District at its August School Board meeting.
None of this would have been possible without the generosity of our community! Thank you all so very much!!

Each year, the Valhalla Schools Foundation gives a scholarship to a graduating Valhalla HS senior who plans to study to become a teacher. The VSF Scholarship in Memory of Antonia Piria was established when that beloved teacher passed away, and bequeathed money to our Foundation for this purpose. This year’s scholarship winner is Mariana Lopez-Bedoya, shown here with our President, Allison Linsley. Congratulations, Mariana! We wish you much success!

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week to all of the incredible teachers out there.
Thank you for the patience, dedication, encouragement, and impact you make every single day. The work you do goes far beyond the classroom and helps shape future generations in ways that often go unseen.
Your commitment does not go unnoticed - and this week is a reminder of just how appreciated you truly are.

Three of our Valhalla Schools Foundation Board members posed in front of our banner at Pat Henry Field today! Congratulations to all of the Little Leaguers who marched in the parade!!

Thank you to all in our community who participated in our Chipotle fundraiser yesterday. We gained $261.45 to put toward worthy grants (and some of us gained a pound from the yummy Burrito Bowls!)
What a great community we have!!
