The VAFD proudly serves the City of Van Alstyne, the City of Gunter, the City of Howe, and the City of Tom Bean, as well as all areas in the southern portion of the county.The VAFD is proud to be a part of a quickly growing city that is rich in history. The VAFD is also highly involved in the community with programs promoting education to local students through a clown program. The VAFD is growing rapidly and with the continued support of the community, the VAFD will continue to move forward. 🎉 Congratulations to Firefighter/Paramedic Garrett Simpson! 🚒🚑
Garrett has officially completed his paramedic internship and passed his final evaluations with Dr. Keelen! He has put in the work, continued to grow throughout the process, and reached an important milestone in his career.
We are incredibly proud of his accomplishment and look forward to seeing him continue to grow as a firefighter and paramedic. We know he will represent our department and community with professionalism, compassion, and dedication.
