Here at Feist Salers we take great pride in having a part in importing Salers genetics into the United States. Let us take you back in time for a moment as we explore Jet, the first Salers bull imported from France in 1975 by Neal Feist (my father) and Pat Effertz of Effertz Key Ranch. Fast forward over 40 years of being in the cattle business to the present day and Feist Salers Ranch is running a herd of over 350 high performing females coupled with some of the most proven and widely distributed bloodlines that purebred cattle have to offer.
