The 2nd Annual Plate Project Golf Scramble is happening Saturday, October 10th, and there’s still time to be part of a day that’s about so much more than golf.
Every golfer, sponsor, and donation helps The Plate Project continue feeding and serving children in the Dominican Republic and Haiti. One round of golf can help put meals on tables, support communities, and remind children that they are seen, loved, and not forgotten. ❤️

Is one child enough? ❤️
As we prepare for our upcoming Plate Project Golf Scramble, our co-founder Jenny shares a little of what God has been putting on her heart.
It’s easy to look at registrations, numbers, fundraising goals, and everything that still needs to come together and wonder, “Will it be enough?”
And then comes the reminder: What if it changes the life of ONE child?
One child fed.
One child loved.
One child given hope.
One life changed.
That one child is worth it. Every single time. ❤️
This golf scramble isn’t really about golf. It’s about the children on the other side of every golfer, sponsor, donation, and person who chooses to show up.

Our upcoming Dominican Republic mission trip is getting REAL! ✈️
This week, an amazing group of volunteers came together to sort, organize, pack, and prepare the supplies we’ll soon be carrying with us to serve the children and families in the DR.
From Bibles and VBS supplies to crayons, markers, notebooks and so much more, every item represents an opportunity—to love a child, build a relationship, meet a need, and most importantly, make Jesus known. 🙌🏼
We are so thankful for every person who donated supplies, gave financially, showed up to pack, or has been covering this trip in prayer. This mission truly takes a village!
And we’re not quite finished yet. 🧳 We have a LOT to get from here to the Dominican Republic, and donations toward our checked baggage costs and remaining trip expenses would be an incredible blessing.
Soon, everything you see on these tables will be in the hands of the people we’ve been preparing and praying to serve. That’s pretty amazing. 🥹❤️

🌿✈️ REMINDER: VBS Packing Party this Monday! ❤️
Our Dominican Republic mission trip is getting closer, and Monday we’re coming together to prepare VBS supplies for the kiddos we’ll soon get to serve! 🎒✏️🖍️
Join us as we assemble VBS pouches, organize supplies, and get everything ready to take with our team.

Want to help with supplies? We can still use pencils, glue sticks, crayons, and small notepads. Financial gifts toward purchasing supplies are also greatly appreciated.

In just a few weeks, our Plate Project team will be heading to the Dominican Republic, and we’ll have the incredible opportunity to love on and serve these precious kiddos in person.
We won’t just be bringing meals. We’ll be spending time with them through VBS, sharing the love of Jesus, playing, learning, building relationships, and reminding each child just how loved they are. 🙏🏼
And none of it happens alone.

This is what The Plate Project is all about. ❤️🍽️
A table full of children. Plates full of food. And another meal made possible because people choose to care.
What may seem like one simple meal means so much more. It means a child is nourished, loved, seen, and reminded that they are not forgotten.
Week after week, this is why we keep showing up. And we couldn’t do it without the people who pray, give, share, and believe in this mission alongside us.

Today, we’re grateful for the many hardworking hands that make this mission possible—from our team and volunteers here at home to the incredible pastors, leaders, cooks, and helpers serving children and families in Haiti and the Dominican Republic. ❤️
Your dedication, generosity, and willingness to serve are helping provide more than a meal. Together, we’re bringing hope and changing lives one meal at a time.

🇩🇴 We’re asking, praying, and believing.
There are doors opening for The Plate Project to serve even more children and families in the Dominican Republic—and with those opportunities come some pretty big needs.
Recently, we were reminded of the simple words of Jesus:
“Ask and it will be given to you…” — Matthew 7:7
So, we’re asking. ❤️
We’re believing for provision to open another feeding location, begin Sunday dinners through a local church, finish a dining space where children can gather for meals, and support our upcoming mission trip to the DR.
