SCORR Riders

Hello to all of the pals of the pig! We have hit that time of the year. The rains seem to be a bit more steady. The heat seems to be a bit hotter. And SCORR has begun planning Piggy's Revenge, 2027. We will be celebrating 15 years of bikes in the woods, from our humble beginnings of a handful of riders, to selling out all 350 spots for the past few year. We have grown into the best little bike event in the area. Be prepared to start your year out right on the last day of January with more fun than you can believe. A fun ride, and an even more fun after ride experience, including the brats that one lady from Wisconsin claims are the best she has ever had!!! We recently received this from the Land Manager at the Myakka State Forest:
"We will be closing the Palmetto Trail, Slash Pine Trail and the East River Road Parking lot starting 4/21/26. The timber harvest will be occurring. We are not sure how long this harvest will take. When we find out, we will let you know.
