SUNDAY RECAP
What if the problem isn’t that we don’t love God, but that somewhere along the way, we’ve learned to see Him through the wrong lens?
Saul knew Scripture. He knew theology. He was passionate, convinced, and sincere.
And he was sincerely wrong.
Because he couldn’t see Jesus clearly.
This Sunday, we were reminded that Jesus gets the final word on what the Father is like. What we believe about God matters, because we become what we behold. If our picture of God is harsh, shame-filled, or more concerned with being right than loving people, eventually that picture begins shaping us too.
Saul didn’t need a new Bible.
He needed new eyes.
And sometimes, so do we.
Sometimes revelation isn’t God showing us something brand new. Sometimes it’s finally seeing Jesus in what has been there all along.
When we see Jesus clearly, it changes more than our theology.
It changes the way we see people.
Ananias saw Saul’s history.
Jesus saw what grace was about to do.
Ananias saw a threat.
Jesus saw a brother.
May our prayer this week be simple:
“Jesus… open my eyes."
And whatever You show me, give me the humility to let You change me.”
What a powerful Sunday together. ❤️

Goodmorning church family!
Today we would love to pray with you, and for you.❤️
Whatever you’re carrying, whatever you’re walking through, or whatever you’re believing God for you don’t have to carry it alone. We firmly believe here at Verdigris Assembly we are family, and in this family we always pray for one another.
You are seen, known, and deeply, loved by the Father. He cares deeply for the things you care for, because you are His sons and daughters.
We would be honored to pray with you and for you today. Leave a prayer request below, or send us a private message. ❤️

What a beautiful time in worship, and an incredible message.

What does love require now?
This week, we were reminded that following Jesus isn’t always about knowing what comes next. Sometimes it’s simply about saying YES to what He’s placed in front of us today.
We can be so drawn to the big, visible, measurable things but Jesus often places a seed in our hands: one conversation, one person, one act of obedience. And we may never fully know what He has hidden inside that one small YES.
Big and significant are not the same thing.
So maybe the question isn’t, “Jesus, when will You give me something significant to do?”
Maybe it’s simply:
“Jesus, what seed have You already put in my hand to continue share your love with others?”
What's a seed big or small today that you can say 'yes' too?

Just a little reminder
Church starts at 10 AM tomorrow!
Come as you are. You don’t have to have it all together. You don’t have to perform your way into the Father’s house or walk through the doors as anything other than who you are right now.
You are already known. Deeply loved by our Heavenly Father.
We can’t wait to worship with you tomorrow as a church family. 🙌

SUNDAY RECAP
This week, we continued our NORMAL series in Acts 6 & 7 with the story of Stephen and one question:
Does Jesus have my YES… before I know what’s NEXT?
Stephen’s story begins with widows being overlooked. There was a need, somebody needed to help, and Stephen said YES.
No platform. No preaching. Just faithfulness with what was right in front of him.
Because in the Kingdom, there really isn’t such a thing as “just helping.” Even ordinary moments are ministry moments.
Stephen couldn’t have known where that first yes would lead. But before the miracles, the opposition, or the council, Jesus was already forming something IN him.
And when the pressure came, what Jesus had formed IN Stephen came OUT of Stephen. His life began to look like Jesus.
Maybe we spend too much time asking:
What’s my calling? What’s my purpose? Where is this going?
When perhaps the question before all of those is simply:
Does Jesus have my YES? My whole yes?
Maybe we’re asking Jesus for the next five steps when He’s asking us just to take the next one right in front of us he's calling us to take.
We don’t have to see the whole road before we say YES. We just need to make sure our eyes are fixed on Him.
What is the Holy Spirit asking
you to say 'YES' to?
