This Shoalwaters floatation foam was completely saturated and the hull was full of water. Estimating we removed about 600 lbs of dead weight. Once the foam was removed we found one of the stringers has separated from the hull. Stringer will be repaired, new floatation foam and composite deck, new gelcoat and the boat will be good for another 20 years.
